Convention attendees are encouraged to venture just outside the BJCC to the Uptown Entertainment District for lunch and evening meals during convention. This area offers several great restaurants, including: Uptown Cantina, Mugshots Grill & Bar, Southern Kitchen & Bar, Todd English P.U.B. (located inside the Westin Hotel), Your Pie Pizza, Texas de Brazil (open for dinner only), Santos Coffee and Eugene's Hot Chicken.

Additionally, attendees that pre-paid for a boxed
lunch on Thursday, May 11, 2023 and Friday, May 12, 2023 will receive a
lunch ticket with their name badges at registration. These tickets will identify your choice of sandwich and will be required
to receive your box lunch.
The convention will break for lunch from 12 – 2 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Attendees that have pre-purchased a box lunch for either day or both days will need to pick up their meal between 12 – 1 p.m. across from East Meeting Room A, located on the first floor, of the BJCC. Tickets are required for pickup.
Several guest exhibitors will speak from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. in 20-minute increments on Thursday and Friday during lunch. Attendees that
pre-paid for a box lunch are welcome to sit and eat at one of the tables in
East Meeting Rooms A, B and C while listening to the speakers. On Thursday the
following marketplace vendors will present during lunch: Alabama Recreation and
Parks Association, Avenu Insights & Analytics and New Line Skateparks. On
Friday, the following strategic partners will present during lunch: Tristatz, Truckworx
and J.M. Wood Auction Company.
