2026 NLC Congressional City Conference Events

The National League of Cities will host its Congressional City Conference in Washington, D.C. on March 16-18, 2026, with pre-conference activities beginning March 14-15. This conference provides local leaders the tools and connections to build brighter futures for Alabama’s cities and towns, while also providing a great networking opportunity with peers throughout the United States. During the Congressional City Conference, Alabama will host its caucus meeting in conjunction with one joint reception with Alabama’s congressional delegation on Monday, March 16 from 6–8:30 p.m. at the Marriott Marquis (901 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20001). This event requires pre-registration and a fee.

In addition, the League will host a breakfast on Tuesday, March 17 from 8-10 a.m., with U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville and Sen. Katie Britt that requires pre-registration and a fee. This event will take place at the Marriott Marquis.

The deadline to register for these Alabama events is March 2, 2026.
